1412Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website. We are a development studio based in Newton, Massachusetts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit 1412labs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short, and we do not sell your data.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit the newsletter form, we collect the email address you enter. When you book a fit call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, so any details you provide there (such as your name, email, and notes) are processed through Calendly.

Information collected automatically. If analytics is enabled, we collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information on this website.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your questions and inquiries.

• Calendly, for scheduling fit calls.
• Google Analytics, for website analytics (optional, see section 4).
• Our hosting provider, for serving the website.
• Our email and newsletter provider, for sending updates.

Each provider only receives the data it needs to do its job, and is expected to protect that data.

7. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, and only when required by law or when needed to protect our rights, safety, or property.

8. Data retention

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. We keep inquiry and project correspondence for as long as needed to work together and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider default settings.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address in section 14. We will respond within a reasonable time.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and you can block analytics cookies through your browser.

11. International visitors

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using this website, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with data protection laws different from those in your own country.

12. Children

This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
